MORE ABOUT THE HOPE FAMILY

After marrying in 2002, Chris and Amelia settled in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. One year after the arrival of their second son, Seb, they moved to Brisbane. It wasn’t long after that that they attended and were part of the charter class of Rhema Bible Training College. They graduated together in 2010 as the first married couple to attend and graduate together.

During their final six months of Bible College, Directors Tony and Patsy Cameneti began to pastor, and Chris and Amelia came along side them to serve in what ever capacity they could, initially becoming their youth pastors (2010) prior to graduating.

During the following five and half years they served at Rhema Family Church (RFC) in various positions. From pastors to cleaners, as well as facilities coordinator, communications director, church service coordinator, production director, café manager, hospitality and events, program coordinator, guest services coordinator, building director, and personal assistant to the Camenetis.

Chris and Amelia put their hand to whatever they were asked to do: developing, training and establishing many areas, ready for new team leaders to come in and take their places in what God has called them to do.

Chris and Amelia’s heart is to help build leaders and build the church by training and equipping them with the Word of God through leadership development, and practical and support ministries to fulfill the mandate that God has for them.

Chris and Amelia are now part of a team that serve Rhema Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Their 4 children William, Sebastian, Benjamin, and Amirah all serve alongside their parents bringing their own supply and servant hearts. They do what ever their parents are doing: building, hosting, setting up and packing down, making coffee, talking to people - whatever they can put their hand to. They are up late at conferences and out of bed early to go to school. It’s a family calling!
